Corporate Social Responsibility
Together we make the floriculture sector more sustainable and we do this through our passion for plants! As part of Dutch Flower Group's sustainability strategy IMPACT25, we want to continue to make a positive environmental and social impact with all our activities.
IMPACT25
At the beginning of 2020, we have started our sustainable strategy "IMPACT25". IMPACT25 stands for Identity, Measurability, Proactivity, Action, Collectivity and Transparency.
We do this based on 3 principles:
1. For more transparency in the chain.
2. For the people in our chain
3. For our world
Transparency
We believe transparency about sustainability is very important. We are transparent about our sustainable developments and results and only wish to work with certified growers in 2025. At the moment we buy when possible from growers who are FSI compliant.

For the people
We not only want to improve the sustainable employability of our employees, but also make a positive contribution to people in third world countries. We do this, among other things, by committing ourselves to local construction projects. Together with Dutch Flower Group, Dutch Flower Foundation and Habitat for Humanity, a total of 13 volunteers commit themselves annually to collect as much money as possible for the construction trip and to help realize the construction of a home or school.
Environment
Our aim is to achieve zero environmental impact by 2025. We want to achieve this by focusing on our business processes and products. We want to drastically reduce CO2 emissions and make transport more sustainable. We separate our waste and we continuously look at how we can reduce our waste, for example through a Non-Packaging Program. We also prefer suppliers that meet the requirements for the use of crop protection products.
Towards a sustainable floriculture chain, because without sustainability there is no future!
